Care for Guildford has a vacancy for a part-time administrator to work from home for up to 16 hours a week, supporting our vital work in the local community. If you live in Guildford, have strong organisational skills, are resourceful, a good team player, and are able to work with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about the ethos of our charity and a key liaison point for the charity’s team of over 100 volunteers. In addition to database management and tasks to support the Trustees, the administrator will also be a Duty Officer for at least two days per month (9am-1pm and 2pm-4pm). This role involves answering phone calls from clients, logging their transport requests, finding driver volunteers for each request, updating the database and delivering the Care for Guildford laptop to the following day’s Duty Officer.
The Care for Guildford administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management of our team of volunteer Duty Officers, providing training to new Duty Officers as required, and ad-hoc support on technical issues. The role also involves running Duty Officer meetings twice a year and gaining regular feedback from Duty Officers so that we can continually improve our service of
